Impossible to tell, honestly but to give you an example:
Let’s assume you are proficient with everything that is involved from taking the picture until it’s approved (camera, lights, casting and directing models, scouting locations, post-processing, uploading etc.). Add the talent of “seeing the light” and proper framing you can easily look at $4.000 to $5.000 a month.
This doesn’t happen over night. You will have to establish a large portfolio to reach a critical mass so buyers will acknowledge your images.
Those figures just don’t fly to you. It’s agonizing hard work (which you hopefully enjoy!) that makes you reach your goal.
This is an example of what is technically possible. Many, many factors are involved in this example like how good you are, how many agencies you contribute to, your models, the locations, the lighting etc.
As a beginner in Microstock these days, and I give you the full truth, it is very hard to get off the ground. But don’t back-off since there are wonderful resources online such is this blog that can provide lots of useful information so you can take many shortcuts that a lot of us photographers had to go through.
