This is an updated list of the 10 most recommended microstock agencies that deserve your images. These stock agencies have been doing business for several years and are solid performers. There are no scams, hidden fees, membership dues, hosting costs or anything of that sort going on.
It is industry standard that the agency will take a percentage of each sale to cover their costs for hosting, marketing and distributing your content. These percentage rates can vary quite a lot, for example Alamy currently pays 50% of each sale to the photographer while on the other hand an agency called “Colourbox” in certain cases paid out as little as 2% of the sale price to the photographer.
The agencies listed below are amongst the best performers and most fair companies and should not be missed in any microstock contributor’s repertoire.
